Official Opening Reception - National Headquarters - December 18, 2010

After almost a years work, our new National Headquarters finally opened. We grown so much that we needed some new dedicates spaces. With the help of volunteers during the past year, Our new office space was ready for an official opening. Thanks to the instructors and guests who made this possible.

Even snow two days earlier couldn't stop the opening of our new offices.


Entering the unstairs reception area you are greeted by
a painting by renowned surf artist Courtney Trostel,
a 1980s picture of the Huntington Beach Pier,
and a large wooden fin signed by Dick Dale, Dean Torrance, and David Nuuhiwa

Displays included Australian and US Surf pictures,
first release East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame poster, and 100th Anniversary Huntington Beach poster.

We had wines, soft drinks, cheese, chips, veggies, and cookies.
